Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia from the Japanese MEGA series
Pokémon Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia in Japanese were released together on August 1, 2025, kicking off the new MEGA series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Mega Brave has set code M1L, while Mega Symphonia is designated M1S. Both expansions center on the return of Mega-Entwicklung and each offer their own Pokémon, Trainer cards and special illustrations for Collectors of Japanese Pokémon cards.
Mega Lucario ex faces off against Mega Gardevoir ex
Each expansion has its own central Mega Pokémon. Mega Brave is led by Mega Lucario ex, which can deal high damage early in the game. Mega Symphonia, on the other hand, centers on Mega Gardevoir ex, whose gameplay revolves around quickly building up Energy. As a result, the sets differ not only visually, but also offer different approaches for Players and Collectors.
More Mega Evolutions in M1L and M1S
Alongside Lucario and Gardevoir, both sets feature many other Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. In Mega Brave, you'll find Mega Venusaur ex, Mega Absol ex and Mega Mawile ex, among others, while Mega Symphonia includes cards such as Mega Latias ex, Mega Kangaskhan ex and Mega Manectric ex. If you'd like to discover more expansions from the modern Mega era, you'll find another set featuring popular Mega Pokémon at Pokémon Mega-Entwicklung: Fatale Flammen.
Japanese Booster with five cards per pack
Both Japanese Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia Booster contain five randomly assorted cards each. Individual packs are ideal for smaller openings, while Displays bundle multiple Booster from the same expansion. For example, the Pokémon Mega Symphonia 30-pack Booster Box – Japanese contains 30 packs, making it ideal for an extensive opening of the M1S set.
AR and SAR cards with connected illustrations
A special collecting highlight of Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia is a selection of Art Rare and Special Product Art Rare cards whose illustrations can be connected. When the corresponding cards are placed side by side, they form a larger, continuous image. This means both Japanese sets offer interesting cards for Collectors who value Pokémon card art and extraordinary illustrations, in addition to Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.
Trainer cards for the new Mega era
The Trainer cards also reflect the sets' different themes. For example, Mega Brave includes Lillie's Determination, while Mega Symphonia features Wally's Care, a card that can specifically support Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. If you want to play with your cards as well as collect them, you'll also find ready-to-play deck products for different experience levels under Pokémon Battle decks.

Japanese Pokémon Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia are ideal for fans of Mega Evolutions, Lucario, Gardevoir, and Japanese Trading cards. Displays and other sealed products can be opened right away or collected unopened.
